Château la Négly

The Chateau de la Negly is located in A.O.C. of Coteaux du Languedoc-La Clape, in the south of France between the cities of Narbonne and Beziers.
The terroir is a rocky mountain with a mixture of limestones, red clay and gravel.

The story of Negly begins in the 18th century.
In 1781, the property took the name and finally got called Negly in 1807.

For wines like La Porte Du Ciel, Negly reaches very low yields: a half ton per acre!
And the harvest is picked and sorted by hand, to ensure that only ultra-ripe, pristine fruit is retained for fermentation.
